Postdoctoral associate position available in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Vanderbilt University funded by NIH/NIMAS to study biological self-assembly. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biophysics or Computational Biology and a strong background in molecular simulation, preferably involving the application of statistical mechanics and simulation methods to biomolecular systems and/or coarse graining methods applied to macromolecular systems. The position is available for one year with the opportunity for renewal subject to satisfactory progress.
